Beijing focuses on the global innovation frontier in quantum technology, targeting breakthroughs in scientific research, commercialization of achievements, demonstration applications, and ecosystem development. Anchored by Zhongguancun Science City, Beijing pioneers a new quantum technology industrial landscape, driving the city to become China's premier quantum technology hub. By leveraging dual advantages in original innovation and industrial ecosystem leadership, Beijing aims to secure a big say in quantum technology internationally.

In terms of industrial layout, Haidian District hosts approximately 20 quantum enterprises (two-thirds of Beijing's total), established China's first Zhongguancun Quantum Technology Incubator and Beijing's inaugural Quantum Technology Industrial Park, forming preliminary industrial chains across quantum communication, quantum computing, and quantum precision measurement; Chaoyang District gathers well-known high-tech enterprises engaged in the industrialization of quantum information technology in China, such as QBosonN and Qasky; the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area focuses on quantum computing, secure communication, and precision measurement, leveraging its electronics manufacturing foundation to attract enterprises including BOE and HYQ, achieving upstream-downstream integration in research and development (R&D) and manufacturing of fundamental optoelectronic components and core devices.
