Recently, the Global FinTech Hub Report 2023 was released. According to the report, the top ten cities (the cities referred to in this report represent cities or regions) in order are Beijing, San Francisco (Silicon Valley), New York, London, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Singapore, Chicago and Sydney, with Beijing topping the ranking for the fifth consecutive year.

In terms of the fintech industry, among the top 20 cities in the report, five are in China, namely Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hangzhou and Hongkong, with a total of 97 listed fintech companies and a listed market value of USD188.41 billion. There are 292 high-financing unlisted fintech companies in these cities, with a cumulative financing amount of USD106.54 billion.

Judging from the fintech ecology, it was the first time that Beijing overtook London to top the global fintech ecology ranking this year.
