Daxing International Hydrogen Energy Demonstration Zone has been awarded the distinction of a high-quality industrial park.

Hydrogen fuel has earned its place as the "ultimate energy source for the 21st century". With the implementation of the "Dual Carbon" (carbon peaking and carbon neutrality) strategy, the development of the hydrogen energy industry has seen remarkable growth. The Daxing International Hydrogen Energy Demonstration Zone has established public facilities to meet the demands of the industry's development and offered abundant industrial resources from research institutes. The demonstration zone boasts a well-established public testing platform and mature application scenarios that are driving the growth of the hydrogen energy industry. The demonstration zone, comprising the northern and southern regions, has convenient transportation facilities. It is located in the central area of southern Beijing and enjoys close proximity to crucial transportation hubs such as Beijing Daxing International Airport as well as logistic centers such as JD Asia No.1 Warehouse and Southern Beijing Logistics Base.

Notably, Hypower, the hydrogen refueling station in the Daxing International Hydrogen Energy Demonstration Zone has cemented its position as the largest of its kind worldwide. With an area spanning over 7,000 sqm, the station boasts a daily production capacity of 4.8 tons of hydrogen fuel, capable of satisfying the refueling demands of 500 to 600 vehicles.
