A wonderful automobile mobilization was staged in the 50,000 square meters exhibition area of the 2022 China International New Energy and Intelligent Connected Vehicles Exhibition. 213 well-known enterprises in the field of intelligent network connection around the world showed up with 191 cutting-edge products, comprehensively displaying the new technologies, new products and new applications so that everyone can share the latest achievements.
The exhibition adopts three modes i.e. online and offline combination, indoor and outdoor correspondence, static display and dynamic experience integration. Among them, indoor exhibition areas include professional exhibition areas such as whole vehicle exhibition area, intelligent area, car networking safety exhibition area and intelligent equipment exhibition area, as well as special exhibitions such as "smart car time and space shuttle" meta-universe exhibition, Beijing high-level automatic driving demonstration area exhibition, and collection and exhibition of science and technology innovation achievements of Innovation China · Intelligent Connected Vehicles; the outdoor exhibition areas include Intelligent Connected Innovation Ecological Experience Area and Intelligent Connected Future Ecological Exhibition Area, Autopilot Demonstration Area, 2022 National Intelligent Driving Test Competition Finals Venue.
Shunyi District set up an exhibition area of Intelligent Connected Vehicles Innovation Ecological Demonstration Area at this exhibition, which is divided into historical, industrial and future chapters. It focuses on the development process, development status, R&D design, vehicle manufacturing, core components, intelligent connection and future planning of the automobile industry in Shunyi District. Since the establishment of a new automobile production base in Shunyi District by Beijing No.2 Automobile Manufacturing Plant in 1985, Shunyi District has now owned five major vehicle enterprises, including Beijing Benz Automotive, Beijing Hyundai Auto, Li Auto, BAIC ORV, Beijing Sanitation Equipment New Energy Special Vehicle, and more than 150 core parts enterprises. The cumulative production of complete vehicles has reached 12.6 million. Following the principles of pilot implementation, adapting measures to local conditions, highlighting characteristics, leading and driving, safe and controllable development, relying on the existing industrial development foundation and the advantages of key bearing areas of Beijing intelligent connected vehicles industry, and focusing on the overall layout of "one corridor, one town, six gardens and multiple points", Shunyi District has made every effort to plan and build 200 square kilometers of Intelligent Connected Vehicles Innovation Ecological Demonstration Zone.
Looking to the future, Shunyi District will focus on the national "New Infrastructure" and "New Energy Automobile Industry Development Plan (2021-2035)", make every effort to build 5G communication as the core, drive industrial chain clusters such as chips, intelligent hardware, cloud computing and high-precision maps, and actively lay out key technical projects such as power batteries, driving motors, vehicle operating systems, etc., so as to form an intelligent connected synergetic ecology integrating "vehicle, road, cloud, network and map".

In the intelligent city, smart buses and unmanned taxis pick up and deliver daily commutes; in the intelligent community, unmanned sweepers, unmanned delivery vehicles, smart express delivery vehicles, emergency communication vehicles serve urban life; in the scenario of intelligent connected expressway, the latest supporting facilities for intelligent and connected vehicles such as smart charging piles and "vehicles connect everything" enhance the driving experience. In the agricultural scenario, with the support of remote sensing, Internet of Things and other technologies, the tall and heavy agricultural machinery has realized the functions of unmanned driving, high-precision positioning, intelligent control of machinery, full-path automatic planning and so on.
