The launching ceremony of Xicheng District 19th Citizen Learning Week was held online recently. More than 100 people from sub-district, community education schools, adult schools and vocational schools in the jurisdiction attended the ceremony.

During the one-month learning week, Xicheng District will hold a number of online learning activities with various themes and rich content, in which citizens have the chance to participate in lifelong learning and display learning results. The event will last until the end of December.

It’s worth mentioning that Xicheng District always considers lifelong education as an important livelihood project, and strives to build a lifelong education system that serves the whole people. There are more and more public education venues providing more and more services in Xicheng District. At this launching ceremony, Taoranting Yide Study, "Guangyi+" Guang’anmennei Citizen Culture Center, Shichahai Social Psychological Service Center, and Chunshu Reading Space were designated as Xicheng District’s lifelong learning service bases. Up to now, the total number of learning bases for citizens in Xicheng District has reached 105.
