Niujie Sub-district’s "Unity Space" opened recently. With a construction area of 500 square meters, it includes the "Joint Space", "Integration Space", "Gathering Space", "Discussion Space", and "Sharing Space". Residents can book a variety of services on the app of the space, such as cultural, social interaction, and entertainment services.

The "Joint Space" is an office space, where Niujie Sub-district Services Station for Floating Population of Ethnic Minorities, Niujie Halal Food Chamber of Commerce, Niujie Chamber of Commerce of Xicheng District Federation of Industry and Commerce, etc. are located.

In order to expand new channels for publicity and sales, a live-streaming room is set up in the "Integration Space". It will promote Niujie’s leading products and its food culture, so as to foster the development of the Niujie commercial area.

In the "Gathering Space", there are dozens of display boards in its exhibition hall. The exhibition themes will vary according to hot topics in the future. And good deeds of skilled men, volunteers, and other local people may be displayed in the exhibitions as well.

In the "Discussion Space", residents will discuss community issues in round table meetings, and jointly contribute to the construction of the community.

In addition, the "Unity Space" utilizes the "Gathering Space" and the "Sharing Space" to offer cultural and entertainment services to residents. At present, a VR experience device and a karaoke machine is put into use in the "Gathering Space". In the near future, distinctive costumes of different nationalities will be provided for residents and children to dress in and take pictures. In the "Sharing Space", residents read and enjoy psychological counseling service. If conditions permit, the space will organize book exchange activity, flea market and other activities.
