Xicheng District will further integrate outstanding resources in the culture, tourism, sports, education, and health fields, and make every effort to promote regional consumption upgrade and stimulate consumption growth. Meanwhile, Xicheng District will continue to organize activities in Spring Festival, the May Day holiday and other festivals and holidays to boost consumption, such as the Xidan International Fashion Festival, e-commerce promotion conference, and Beijing International Tea Expo, Beijing Maliandao International Tea Culture Expo and tea culture festival. In addition, the "Consumption in Xicheng" WeChat public account will be used to release policies and measures on promoting the commercial sector and benefiting citizens.

Xicheng District will accelerate the transformation and upgrade of commercial areas such as Xidan and Dashilan, improve the commercial facilities in Beijing Financial Street, and promote the renovation of Hualian Commercial Building in Fuchengmen and Xidan Department Store. Moreover, Xicheng District will expand new consumption scenarios, build intelligent commercial areas, and continue to develop "new consumption" models such as online groceries ordering, online meal ordering, and online shopping.
