As of October 9, 2021, Beijing Overseas Talents Center will begin using electronic seals for the "Special seal for certificate management of Beijing Center for Foreigners Working in China". This initiative aims to better serve the endeavor of Beijing to build a center for international science and technology innovation and further optimize processing procedures for foreigner's work permits in China. All documentation relating to permitting foreigners to work in China, including Acceptance Form for Foreigners' Work Permits in China; Decision on Approval of Administrative License; Certificate of Cancellation of Foreigners' Work Permits in China,will be stamped electronically upon review and approval, with equivalent effect of paper documents.
Relevant documents can be printed out online by the employer (color printing is recommended) without having to visit the service desk. Foreigner's Work Permits (cards) will be issued and may be claimed in due course.
