According the report of the 13th Beijing Municipal Congress of the Communist Party of China, the development of the Integrated National Demonstration Zone for Opening up the Services Sector and the China (Beijing) Pilot Free Trade Zone ("Two Zones"), and of the Financial Street Forum, the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), and the Zhongguancun Forum will be developed to high standards in order to boost an advanced and open economy.

As a platform for high-level opening up in Beijing, the "Two Zones" have made remarkable achievements in the past two years since the beginning of their development, including the promotion of hundreds of institutional innovations, the launch of over 110 landmark projects and functional platforms, and the nationwide promotion of eleven Beijing's best practices. Thus, the development of the "Two Zones" has gotten off to a good start. In the future, the "two zones" will achieve the goal to reach the standards set out in high-level international economic and trade agreements, bear responsibility for guiding enterprises' and industries' development and dealing with their pain points and difficulties in order to support opening up, learn from advanced international methods, promote trade and investment liberalization and facilitation, and create a fair, transparent and predictable international business environment.
