Between January and April,the city's industrial enterprises above the scale of the city realized 658.68 billion yuan of main business income,an increase of 9.6%over the same period last year,while the total realized profits totaled 47.57 billion yuan,an increase of 9.5%over the same period last year.  

In terms of economic types,the total profits realized by state-owned enterprises were 15.19 billion yuan,up 25.5 yuan over the same period last year;the total profits realized by joint-stock enterprises were 10.27 billion yuan,down 4.1 yuan from the same period last year;and the total profits realized by foreign businessmen and Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan investment enterprises were 22.14 billion yuan,an increase of 7.4 yuan over the same period last year.  

In terms of scale,large and medium-sized enterprises realized total profits of 41.14 billion yuan,an increase of 7.8 yuan over the same period last year.  

By industry,in 39 industry categories,18 industries profit growth year-on-year.Of these,the total profit realized by the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry was 7.04 billion yuan,up 45.3 percent from the same period last year;the total profit realized by the automobile manufacturing industry was 9.9 billion yuan,down 18.5percent from the same period last year;the total profit realized by the computer,communications and other electronic equipment manufacturing industries was 2.17 billion yuan,up 30.2 percent from the same period last year.The total profit of electric power,thermal production and supply industry was 17.12 billion yuan,up 15.2%from the same period last year.  

By the end of April,the accounts receivable of industrial enterprises above the scale had reached 429.98 billion yuan,an increase of 3.8 percent over the same period last year;the capital for finished products was 85.89 billion yuan,up 4.5 percent from the same period last year.

I.scope of statistics  

Before 2010,the industrial enterprises with large scale or above refer to the corporate industrial enterprises whose main business income is 5 million yuan or more per year.Since 2011,it has been adjusted to be a legal person industrial enterprise with an annual main business income of 20 million yuan or more.  

II.Collection channels  

In accordance with the requirements of the Industrial Statistics report form system,the industrial legal entity above the scale shall truthfully fill in the statistical report form and report the statistical data through the statistical data acquisition platform.The Beijing statistics department shall,after examination and examination,collect the city's industrial statistics data above the scale of the whole city and issue them to the public after unified examination and evaluation by the National Bureau of Statistics.
