On September 11, the "Beijing Day" and Invest Beijing Conference kicked off in the Chinese capital city during the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS).

The event unveiled a series of major cooperation opportunities, including 140 investment projects across key sectors such as next-generation information technology and biopharmaceuticals, with a total value of 139.75 billion yuan.

Themed "Empowerment·Convergence·Shared Success", the conference focused on deepening the integration of trade in services with high-end manufacturing and modern services, building a global platform for resource matchmaking, and jointly exploring new pathways for industrial upgrading.

At the event, guests from home and abroad gathered to draw a new blueprint for industrial integration. In-depth discussions revolved around global investment trends, international technological cooperation, and high-end resource integration.

Participants recognized the immense potential of integrating services with manufacturing and modern industries, offering insights to guide Beijing's coordinated industrial development while signaling the city's firm commitment to advancing high-level opening-up.

In recent years, Beijing has continuously optimized its business environment, rolling out over 1,700 reform measures. The city launched a unified policy service platform, and implemented measures to ensure enterprises benefit from supportive policies. The service mechanisms have also been refined, with the 12345 hotline services achieving a 97 percent satisfaction and resolution rate.

Beijing has also enhanced financial support for high-tech and frontier industries. Since 2023, the city has launched eight government-guided industrial funds totaling more than 100 billion yuan, directing strong counter-cyclical investment into key sectors to foster the growth of new quality productive forces.

At the conference, 140 investment cooperation projects were released across key sectors such as next-generation information technology and healthcare, with a total value of 139.75 billion yuan. In addition, 20 new "AI+" application scenarios were introduced to accelerate the transformation and real-world application of scientific and technological achievements.

The newly launched invest Beijing big data service platform covers the full chain of industrial planning, resource matching, event presentation, and project cooperation.

Through digital technologies, it provides one-stop services for investors at home and abroad, serving as the primary gateway for enterprises seeking to invest in Beijing.

To facilitate investment discussions, a dedicated service zone called "Beijing Investment Reception" was set up at the conference, providing one-stop consultation services.

As an important platform at CIFTIS for showcasing Beijing's business environment and connecting global resources, the service zone has been created for four consecutive years.

This year, it continued to focus on enterprise needs, providing on-site policy consultation and investment support, and presenting a comprehensive view of Beijing's development strengths and its strategic industrial landscape.

The conference was hosted by the Beijing Municipal People's Government and organized by the Beijing Investment Promotion Service Center.
