Online Promotion Event on Innovation Policies of Beijing's "Two Zones" Held

On November 23, 2021, Beijing Investment Promotion Service Center held an online promotion event on innovation policies of Beijing's "two zones" in a bid to implement the instruction of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee on the exposure, analysis, warning, management and regulation of each case and the plans made by the People's Government of Beijing Municipality. Li Sanzhong, Member of the Leading Party Members Group and Deputy Director of Beijing Investment Promotion Service Center, presided over the event. The event focused on the hot policy that "the State Council approved the temporary adjustment and implementation of relevant administrative laws and regulations and departmental regulations approved by the State Council in Beijing on October 8, 2021," which has drawn much attention from foreign enterprises. Beijing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Beijing Communications Administration and Beijing Customs District of the People's Republic of China were invited to interpret "the expanded opening of Beijing's telecom business to foreign investors and the existing regulatory situation", "the support for foreign investors to organize operational vocational skills training" and "the latest policies on tariff concessions and rules of origin of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP)". Besides, Wang Zhiyong, Member of the Leading Party Members Group and Deputy Mayor of Shijingshan District People's Government, and relevant comrades of the Management Committee of Zhongguancun Science City attended the event and carried out special promotion of their districts respectively. Nearly 300 foreign chambers of commerce, associations, new-generation information technology enterprises and technology and finance enterprises attended the event via the online platform. Negotiations will be organized after the organizer collects the intentions of some enterprises to invest and develop in Beijing.
