At the same time, as one of the integrated northwest highway channels between Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, the G6, It is of great significance to promote the development of economy and tourism in poverty-stricken areas of Zhangbei by G7 passenger and freight traffic pressure of Beijing-New Expressway.
The World Garden, which is responsible for the implementation of the Yanqing Road Sub-bureau of the Municipal Transportation Committee, will guarantee the reconstruction and extension of the road, Yanan Road, Dongjiang Road, and the Yankang Road, and the upgrading project of Kangchang Road is completed successfully, with a total of 22.72 km.
Kangzhang Road upgrading Project starts with G6 Highway auxiliary road and ends at Yankang Road, with a total length of 3.4 km. The two roads are upgraded from the second-class highway to the first-class highway, and the motorized lane is changed from one-up to two-two, so that the capacity of the two roads can be improved to the maximum extent within the original area of the highway. As the main passageway from Kangzhang direction of G6 Jingzang Expressway to the World Garden Expo Park, these two roads are important auxiliary channels for the traffic outside the park. Pak Kang Road starts at Kangzhang Road and ends at Yanzong Expressway with a total length of 3.8 kilometers. It is upgraded from a secondary highway to a first-class highway, and the motorized lane is two-up-two-down-four-lane. The starting point of Yannong Road is located in Yanxia Road, and the end point is located in auxiliary road of Yanzong Expressway, with a total length of 1.87 kilometers. It is originally a Grade 4 highway. After reconstruction, it is a second-class highway, widening the road surface to 7 meters, thus enhancing the driving comfort. Dongjiang Road is composed of a new section and a former section of Dongjiang Road, with a total length of about 4 kilometers. After reconstruction, Dongjiang Road will become the main road of the city, and the motorized lane will be changed from one top to one to two up and down, with non-motorized lanes, green belts and pedestrian walkways. Pak Kang Road, Dong JiangRoads are important links around the Expo Park, especially Pak Hong Road, which is adjacent to the non-fenced area of the World Park. It is the main road for pedestrians and vehicles to enter and exit the park during the Expo. Dongjiang Road is not only the main way of gathering and distributing, but also the southern side of Yanqing planning new town.
According to reports, the construction of Yankang Road, Kang Zhang Road, Baikang Road, Dongjiang Road, Yan Nong Road and other roads has enhanced the links between the main passageways such as G6 Jingzang Expressway, Xingyan Expressway, Yanzong Expressway and G7 Jingxin Expressway and the World Garden Association Park. Realizing the fast and smooth traffic conversion can satisfy the transportation guarantee task of the peak passenger flow during the meeting, and it will also play an important role in the economic development and urban construction of Yanqing.
